[Q]Rooting ALPS M1 (Random Chinese Nobrand phone) - CWM possible

Now i tried the MTKDroidTools program & following http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2519432 and it says this:


So, I checked out the link ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...nt=5&nocache=1 ), However, I would like to know if someone can make this idiot proof (I am tech saavy but haven't had to attempt something like rooting and android device before. I simply can't stand how slow my cheap chinese phone responds to things lol). I don't want to screw something up not that i spent much on it anyways but would like to get this done on the first try.

Automated apps didn't work so if i have to do that in order to get root then so be it.
A better explanation in steps on what to do so i don't get confused and screw it up would be great.

My phone got bricked while flashing cwm

Please help me.I got this phone from korea.S2 hd lte.I decided to install Slimrom and flashed cwm
for e120s


So went to pda and flashed it and after that I rebooted it.Then it went to this horrid message and wont boot.

Help me please.I would be thankfull.

White or black phone with a black case?

Hey all!

I'm about to order my Xiaomi Mi4C and I can't decide what color to choose, white or black. I'm usually going with black on all my devices, but now that I'm looking at available cases and I see pictures of a white phone with a black case, I think it looks really nice.
Worth mentioning is that only the backside is white, and the front is still black. So when you're looking at the phone from the front, all you see will be black. But if you look at the phone from behind, you'll see 90% black and some nice details of white.

Anyone mind helping me out with this? What would you do, as a guy that normally goes all black? :)

Pc not recognizing my phone while in fastboot

When i plug it in in fastboot mode it doesnt find it. I have done this before where it did and i rooted/recoverrry through fastboot but all of a sudden it stopped working. can anyone help??
I also get these errors when i trry to install the drivers wherre they all failed but it doesnt say why it did.

A Question: Getting used to this phone after Note Edge. What i really miss...

the only application i miss from the Note Edge is the function to receive notifications, select apps, receive phone calls, forward/reverse music on edge so it doesn't disturb whatever ive been doing on the main screen.
has this function been added to s6 edge plus yet? or will it never be?

Bricked phone please help

Hey guys I really need some help here. I bricked my brand new phone after downloading and running the samsung debloat app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ablerpro&hl=en) I chose the the one click option to debloat the phone and thought everything was cool. I did not disable and other apps at all. Later that night the phone was around 25 percent so went to put it in extreme power saving mode and boom the phone goes into a endless bootloop. I reset the phone and and the phone wont boot up past the verizon logo. I tried putting the phone in safe mode and still nothing... I'm assuming that the app disabled a system setting that is linked to the extreme power saving mode.

The WIFI on my phone will NOT turn on

I know there are a bunch of threads like this, and I've searched through a BUNCH of them, but either no one was having the same exact problem is me or the answer just wasn't there, so I'm still having the issue.

The WIFI on my phone will not turn/stay on. When I go to turn it on, it looks like it MIGHT turn on, but then switches back to off. It does this repeatedly. Sometimes, after rebooting my phone, I'll turn it on and it will stick in the on position and just say "turning wifi on" forever.

I have tried different ROMS, tried different kernels, tried going back to stock through ODIN, then I found out through another thread that I could use KIES, Samsung's offical software, to go back to the actual offical updated stock release and maybe that'd help. WIFI still is still doing the same exact thing - not working.

I can't think of anything else to do, or any other options I might have, I'm lost. Please help.

edit - I have a 16gb Galaxy S3 T-Mobile SGH-T999.

Phone cant boot into recovery? tried everything...

Hi I have a rooted Z1 Compact with locked bootloader and xz dual recovery which I installed lollipop 5.1.1 on through twrp yesterday. Everything works fine the only problem is I'm completely unable to boot into recovery... any recovery. I've tried all combinations of buttons, downloaded quick root and tried to boot into recovery through ndr utils, rom and twrp manager but nothing works.. It just reboots as normal after hanging a little on the opening graphics. My volume buttons work fine, however when I boot up my phone where the led used to light up I noticed it isn't lighting up (although it is for texts/charging etc). Has anyone got any advice? I really need to get into recovery...

'Get your apps & data' doesn't like my current phone ?

I've got a HTC One Mini 2 unbranded which backs up daily and for good measure I just forced it to up. I'm switching to a Nexus 5x and trying to transfer the settings, apps and data as it offered.

The Nexus 5x only lists by Nexus 7 tablet, not my HTC , any ideas ?

The HTC backup app isn't available for the Nexus 5x so I can't get that to restore everything.

Since the latest update my phone is sending all calls to voicemail.
Verizon G4 on 5.1 | VS98612A | not rooted

It may ring for 1 second, sometimes not at all and there will not be a missed call notification, nor a missed call entry in the log.

The only way I even know I received a call is if the caller leaves a voicemail.
Anyone else have similar problems lately?

Call forwarding is off, this seems to happen with all calls (tested three different locations).

Outgoing calls/texts etc. work fine.

I have a Galaxy s4 Mini gt 19195 and some time ago i flashed an CM12 ROM (lollipop) in there cuz it felt awesome .
But when i started using the phone the apps that needed rooting didn't work , superuser is there but its says the binary code is not installed or whatever
i tried to fix root from my CWM but nothing , reflashed the ROM and nothing , also retried the s4 mini Rootkit v2 but nothing

Im a android developer and im planning to buy a new phone for the scope of app development. My budget is 20k and my prefered choices are samsung galaxy note 5 and nexus 5. But my primary need is promising updates. I know nexus 5 is good in terms of update.but its a 2 yr old device...so I dnt know whether google will provide next update(which might be android N) for nexus 5.
If none of the above.Can you suggest me some other good options.

if I say "call xy" to my watch, its starting Skype on my mobile instead of the phone app. What can I do?

I have "OK Google" set to always on on my Nexus 6. However when you are saying "OK Google" to your watch, it turns my phone on. Can you disable "always on" while your watch is connected?

Phone wont boot up after i tried installing a new rom

Okay, so i have a galaxy s blaze 4g and i am having troubles booting up my phone i tried installing the stock rom back onto it after having cm11 on it for a couple days but it was not letting me use the internet it would always give me errors and i am having trouble just getting it back to the stock rom it loads up says samsung and then goes blank i have no idea what to do i have been scrolling through the internet for hours on end trying to find a solution please help!! :c

Phone Wont Recognize Sim Card And Sd Card

i have desire hd phone
after i removed my sim card and sd card and replace it and restartet my phone - phone wont recognize my sim card and sd card ! i flashed other roms and my last rom but it wont work ! my sd card is avalible in recovery and my file explorer but i not have acces to sd card and sim card in phone ! i cant open apps ore make a call !
what i should do ?
(sim card and sd card are fine and tested in other phone )

lMO battery life doesn't seem good cause fast charge doesnt really fully charge phone

I went back to the slow charger for overnight charging and battery life has been pretty darn good. When I use the fast charger it says it gets to 100 quickly but I feel it drops down way faster. Anyone else feel this way?
