Recovering all data from Xperia Z2 stuck in reboot loop

Hi there.

I updated my phone the other day and it ended up doing reboots with an error message regarding the update process. Before I hand it in for service, I wanted to make a copy of all the contents of the device..

So far, it looks like using some recovery kernel image and ramdisk is the right way to go, using "fastboot boot". What's a good image to use?

It's important that nothing is changed on the phone so I for example void the warranty.

Missing data mobile quick access in notification

Hello everyone. I bought a Galaxy Note 4 N910P one week ago. And then I recognized that it doesn't have mobile data quick access in notification on Android 5.1.1
I searched Google and Samsung says it is general error on android 5.1.1 of any devices. Samsung promised that they will fix it in the future. I think that I can't wait for them. So anybody in here can tell me how to solve the problem? Thanks so much

Option to enable/disable "Mobile Data Traffic" missing

Hi, I'm a noob when it comes to smart phone setup, but saw the success of people here getting setup on t mobile with the Sonys Z5's so thought I'd give it a try (got an Z5c E5823 from HK).

Anyway, setup went smoothly, except for some reason under settings/wireless & networks/more/mobile networks/ I don't have the option to enable/disable mobile network traffic. It isn't that the row is grayed out, it isn't there at all. There are only four choices in this menu (Data Roaming, Preferred Network Type, Access Point Names, and Service Providers).

Anyone know how to get this selection available? Or, is it in a different place maybe?

Salvaging Data from a dead galaxy S6?

So, I'm trying to get the data from my S6 but there are ...some problems.
* The screen is broken (can't see anything)
* When the phone works, it keeps rebooting itself, and sometimes just does not do anything when I put it on the charger (no LED light, etc)
* The phone is rooted with TWRP recovery installed
I know this is going to be super hard but I have some personal data stored on the phone that I really need to recovery, times like these is when I wish we had microSD cards, but thats a different story.
Is there any possible way I can use ADB or something like that to recover the data, even if i'm stuck in recovery mode (since it won't boot up the OS)? Any other suggestions or help would be very much appreciated.

Went from 5.0 to CM12.1 on my 2014 G and now I can't get data.

Definitely have the right apn, data is definitely enabled.

Are there new radios or something that I need for 5.1 vs. 5.0? I have an international Moto G, I'm not sure how to tell which number it is.

How to find Data Usage?

I can only open it when I get a data usage warning. Can't find it in settings. Data traffic management isn't the same place, I'm sure of it.
I know this place was easier to find because on my Sony it was like the 4th option in settings.

It seems to be a bit broken, I'm not sure if it's B830's fault or just my ReFlat EMUI theme.

'Get your apps & data' doesn't like my current phone ?

I've got a HTC One Mini 2 unbranded which backs up daily and for good measure I just forced it to up. I'm switching to a Nexus 5x and trying to transfer the settings, apps and data as it offered.

The Nexus 5x only lists by Nexus 7 tablet, not my HTC , any ideas ?

The HTC backup app isn't available for the Nexus 5x so I can't get that to restore everything.

I bought 25 days ago a Galaxy s6 edge+ (G928F) and i sold my Note4.
i went to my carrier shop and build a new nano-sim to fit with this phone.

i used this phone for some days and i realised that i have some lost calls.
and when i am with 4g(LTE) my carrier data connection is tooooo slow...
i made some experiments with my galaxy tabs 8.4" and i realised that
the tablet is very faster than edge+

as you can see the 2 devices are with same carrier ,same place , same test server at same time.
i did that experiment with a game into playstore. i tried to download NFS in both devices. the tabs
already downloaded 120MB and the edge+ only 15mb.

i went to official samsung service my edge+ and they told me that the device pass all the tests succesfully.

but the problem was there. i went again into service and they replaced all the main board.
(i dont know if it had any problem...maybe they change it just to satisfied me)

BUT the problem remains.....do you have any idea guys??? :(

Data Network error

Hi, i have a LG g3 Beat D722, and updated it into lollipop 5.0.1, but now the Data network connection does not work permanently, i have to turn on and off the airplane mode and then the data network connection icon appears in the notifications bar, till the phone block the screen...when unlock de phone the connection is lost...so i need turn on and off the airplane mode again.

Honor 6 L12 activate 4g data

Hello all,
I am looking for some help to activate 4g data on my Honor 6 L12.
I bought it but it is a Chinese version and as i investigate in the web it has 4g but it comes with the frequencies looked due to some Chinese rules...
I found some websites talking about this and with some instructions on how to activate it but cant figure it out.
I was thinking if someone here already had this problem and if you could kindly share the solution with me.

KatKiss 5.1.1 #27 for TF700t / using ext4 data partition rather than F2FS

Hello,

First of all, sorry for my awful english.
I've installed the KatKiss 5.1.1 #27 rom on my FT700t throw TWRP 2.8.7.

TWPR don't allow me to change data partition to F2FS (error wipe data) and I dont't have used KANG TWRP recovery who allow this.
Even it's indicated that this rom is only for F2FS data partition, it works fine with EXT4.

Could i have problems later ? Can i really use this rom with /data EXT4 ? Are there known issues ?

[Q][n7100]RESURRECTION REMIX 5.5.7 Mobile data & "gapps stopped" problems

Hello,
I flashed RR 5.5.7 on my N7100. This is my first time, overall I like how my phone turned into a modern device after old touchwiz. I flashed the gapps package on the official thread, after problems I re-flashed with "gapps-5.1-arm-2015-07-17-13-29.zip" which I downloaded from the included system option for updates. There is an option to download the latest gapps package.

So far I have 2 major problems with the phone.
1. Mobile data is very unreliable at best. It constantly disconnects I think. Chrome sometimes loads, sometimes does not. For example, spotify shows me as offline. Is there any setting that ı can try to fix this?

2. I use 2 google accounts on my phone. I managed to add second with the mentioned package above. But when I go into accounts and click on google (in order to set what is syched), I get "gapps stopped" error. Can anyone give me an advice on this?

Samsung GT-N700 (Galaxy Note 1): Search available networks & data connectivity issues

Hello everyone!

Recently I rooted my phone Samsung GT-N700 (Galaxy Note 1) and installed the Paranoid Android 5.1; but since then I am constantly facing issues with my phone network connectivity.

I am facing these issues:
1. Unable to search available cellular networks- whenever I search for available networks, it shows me an error message saying "Error in searching for networks". Just on 1 OR 2 occasions there was no error, but the result was also empty saying- "No networks found". The phone does get connected to default service provider, but when I travel to other places, I am not able to search and connect to others networks.
2. Phone's network signal constantly shows an exclamation mark in it. Only when I enable the data network, some times it shows full network connectivity (without any exclamation mark).
3. Data network connection continuously keeps on dropping and connection is very weak- this used to happen in my company provided OS, but the frequency was very low (like 2 OR 3 times a day). But since this OS update, I get disconnected from data network around 20-25 times in a day.
As a side effect of this issue, I am not able to connect to Google play to download any new apps or even update the existing ones! Only when I connect to a Wi-Fi network, I can connect to Google play.

Is there anyone out there facing/faced similar issue? If there is any solution/tweaking to this issue, comments OR suggestions are most welcome! :) :)

Pure Nexus 6.0 R1- Signal Works But No Data

I flashed the pure nexus ROM 6.0 release coming from benzorom some nightl y build not positive which. I flash the 6.0 bootloader and radio from recovery and then flashed the ROM and gapps. Can't get any data for some reason. Can someone help?

Any method for using data while on call?? Is it even possible?
