I corrupted my cache partition; now what?

greetings!

I was fiddling around and ended up corrupting my cache parition. Can't boot to anything but recovery and can't format cache in any recovery. Here is what is happening:

• I get message: "unable to mount /cache when i can see the error


• when I can't see error, recovery (say, cyanogen or stock recovery) just sits there on "wiping cache" with no feedback.

I can flash all the stock images from fastboot without error; except the system image. I get this message (in red text) after the system.img flashes: "sp space is not enough"

I dunno. Is there a way to create a cache partition?

PS: I just got it to load the factory 5.1 image but I can't download the latest update (roughly 9mb - yes I'm using stock recovery, stock everything now). It'll boot to stock recovery after I press "install update" but gets about 25% through, fails and reboots. /shrug

Galaxy tab 2 SGH-I497 There is no PIT partition error

guys I need your help with my device galaxy tab 2 10.1 SGH-I497

when I try to install the firmware through odin it's giving me this error.

I think I need pit file but I don't have it and I couldn't extract from the device cuz it's not working

please help me by trying to find the pit file for it

KatKiss 5.1.1 #27 for TF700t / using ext4 data partition rather than F2FS

First of all, sorry for my awful english.
I've installed the KatKiss 5.1.1 #27 rom on my FT700t throw TWRP 2.8.7.

TWPR don't allow me to change data partition to F2FS (error wipe data) and I dont't have used KANG TWRP recovery who allow this.
Even it's indicated that this rom is only for F2FS data partition, it works fine with EXT4.

Could i have problems later ? Can i really use this rom with /data EXT4 ? Are there known issues ?

flashed wrong partition (gpt.bin) and other images

Please help me out getting out of this worst situation.

Problem: As after having the notification of latest update regarding stagefright exploit on my XT1052 RetailAsia version of moto x (2013), I downloaded a file named "ghost_retail_51_lpa2312-15_cid9_cfc.xml.zip", and tried flashing.
at first started my flash-all.bat file which has all the command starting from "fastboot oem fb_mode_set" to "fastboot oem fb_mode_clear" which has allcommands for partition, system, boot, logo, recovery, modem, fsg, in between .(not in the order the same order as mentioned)
after all commands done, i start checking from first, the first one i.e. fastboot oem fb_mode_set was quiet successfully done but starting from second command i.e., from fastboot flash partiton gpt.bin, all command shows same error i.e.

in my view i thought the file i got is not AsiaRetail version or possibly the file name indicates its a CID9 version and when i checked on my phone using "fastboot getvar cid" it shows mine is 0x07. i.e,

[Rooted&Unlocked] CWM c6.0.5.1.4a - After broken "wipe cache partition" no keyboard

Hey guys.

Need a bit help.
I just start my cwm recovery in version 6.0.5.1.4a and after flashing the newest prerooted aftv rom, I thought it could be good to wipe cache partition. But it wasnt! It stock. 20 minutes long happens nothing.

Now my keyboard does not work anymore. No keyboard. The rest is fine.
I start over adb shell my cwm-recovery with "adb reboot recovery" and and using recovery-keyboard over putty.

There is written "Can't mount /cache/" and so on...

What should I do now?
At the moment I reflash the bueller-51.1.6.3_516012020-rooted.zip ,
and hope it will re-create the cache partition.
